This notice explains how SiapSite Studio (“we”, “us”), which runs SiapSite, a service of Seventh Intelligence, processes personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). It is published in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

• Owners and staff of businesses whose details appear in public business listings, when we prepare a free website preview for that business.
• Clients and people who contact us by WhatsApp or email.
• Visitors to our websites and to the previews we host.

3. What data we collect

• Business details: business name, category, address, location, opening hours, business phone number, and the rating, review count and review text shown on public listings.
• Contact details you give us: your name, phone number and email.
• Messages you send us, and the language you prefer us to reply in.
• For clients: order and payment records (amount, date, reference), domain registration details, and the text and photos you supply for your website. We do not store card numbers.
• Technical data processed by our hosting provider when you visit a page, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.

We do not collect sensitive personal data as defined in the PDPA. We record only the language you prefer for messages.

4. Where the data comes from

• Public business listings, such as Google Maps, online business directories and a business's public social media pages.
• You, when you message us, order, or send materials for your website.
• Our service providers, for example hosting logs and payment confirmations.

5. Why we use it

1. To build a free, private website preview for your business.
2. To contact the business once about that preview by WhatsApp, with at most a few short follow-ups. We stop as soon as you ask.
3. To provide the service you order: building, hosting and editing your website, registering your domain, billing and support.
4. To meet legal duties, such as keeping accounting and tax records.
5. To keep our services secure and prevent abuse.
6. To improve our service, using totals and statistics that do not identify you.

6. Is giving us data required?

No. Talking to us is voluntary. If you become a client we need your contact and billing details and your website content; without them we cannot provide the service.

7. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:

• service providers acting for us: website hosting and content delivery (Cloudflare), messaging (WhatsApp, operated by Meta), email, payment processing and banks, and domain registrars (registering a domain in your name requires your registrant details);
• our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers;
• authorities, when the law requires it.

8. Transfers outside Malaysia

Some of these providers process data on servers outside Malaysia. We transfer data only as permitted by section 129 of the PDPA and take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected.

9. Website previews

A preview is private: it carries a “private preview” banner, asks search engines not to index it, and can be opened only by someone who has the link. We remove a preview whenever the business asks, and delete previews we have not heard back about within 90 days.

10. How long we keep it

• Businesses that do not reply: deleted within 90 days of our first message.
• Businesses that ask us to stop: we delete the preview and keep only the phone number on a do-not-contact list, so we never message you again.
• Clients: for as long as we provide the service, then for 7 years for accounting and tax records as Malaysian law requires.

11. Your rights

• Access the personal data we hold about you. We respond within 21 days.
• Correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
• Withdraw consent to our processing at any time.
• Stop direct marketing (PDPA section 43). Tell us on WhatsApp that you are not interested (any reply such as “no thanks” or “stop” works), or email us, and we will not contact you again.
• Prevent processing that is likely to cause you damage or distress.
• Data portability, where the PDPA provides for it.

To use any of these rights, contact our data protection officer by email or WhatsApp. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

12. Security

We protect data with access controls and encrypted connections (HTTPS). If a data breach occurs, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner and affected people as the PDPA requires.

13. Cookies

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

14. Changes

We will post any change to this notice on this page with a new date.
